Welcome to the fourth annual Food Blogger Connect Conference:

As we've said before, this year's Food Blogger Connect 2012 promises to be the best yet. If you've been before, then you'll know all about the resounding successes of previous years and you'd think we might struggle to improve upon 2011's wonderful events. You'd be wrong! If not, well then, surely it’s about time you headed down to experience the leading international food blogging conference in the world and see for yourself what it's all about.

This year, the FBC12 Team has put together a truly incredible weekend, jam-packed with workshops, sessions, networking, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and fun in London, the epicenter of the UK's burgeoning food scene and now home to over 1,000 food bloggers. Whether you're just starting out or you're already an established blogger, specifically tailored to your requirements, FBC will show you how to take things to the next step. Get ready for an information overload, with three days worth of sessions presented by an accomplished panel of world-renown, award winning journalists, food bloggers and experts within the food industry covering a wide array of the most important topics. Whether you want to know how to improve your food styling and photography, tips on being a better writer and finding your unique 'voice', ways to increase your visibility, develop your brand, how to break into Vblogging & expand your showreel and how to phrase that all important pitch to editors, and much else beside, FBC is here to guide you along the way.

Perhaps most importantly though, FBC offers you the chance to actually meet and spend time with those who make up this great family of food bloggers, not behind the anonymity of twitter, email or facebook, but in person, face to face. Of course, our fantastic range of top notch speakers will be on hand to share their experience, insight and secrets into important food blogging issues, with several interactive workshops, sessions, and FBC Social Network hours, to encourage questions, exchange of information and learning!

This year, in addition to peerless speaker, Dianne Jacob, author of Will Write for Food, who will be joining us from the USA, others gracing us with their presence include Felicity Cloake, award winning journalist for the Guardian and author of Perfect: 68 Essential Recipes for Every Cook's Repertoire; Ellen Silverman, the inspiring photographer behind Gwyneth Paltrow's stunning cookbook; Susan Grossman, the well-established travel journalist, editor, author and BBC broadcaster turned University professor and media training specialist, Yvonne Fuchs, the successful expert behind branding workshops, to an experimental kitchen with Alessio Fangano, bringing kitchen science to FBC12.

Things will kick off at noon on Friday September the 28th at Beaconsfield with a meet & greet, goodie-bags, and a range of different workshops and sessions running pretty much straight through the weekend with cooking demonstrations, tastings, wine exhibitors, and especially for those of you keen to take advantage of the opportunity to continue the 'networking' into the evening with FBC Socials. We will be finishing things off in true style on Sunday with yet more sessions, Ellen Silverman's 4-hour photography workshop, Swap Market, awards, and fantastic prizes.

Who should attend FBC12?

Everyone who is or wants to be part of the food blogosphere. Food Blogger Connect 2012 is open to all, and you don't have to be a long-time blogger to attend. Are you thinking of starting your own food blog? Then this is your one and only opportunity to come and find out what it takes from the best in the industry. Food Blogger Connect is also open to non-UK food bloggers as well as food industry folks.

Whether you are a food writer, publisher, agent, editor, a food photographer and stylist, just a foodie but would like to start a blog, restaurant critic or a producer, this is your opportunity to find out more about how you can benefit from this powerful new and growing medium.
